I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to eveyone who attended the Doctor Who Finale viewing and helped make it a success. Despite a "slight" technical glitch at the end of the night, it seems that everyone had a good time and fun was had by most.

One of the things that I heard towards the end was "We should do this again." SO I am taking this opportunity to open the forum to suggestions and ideas as to what can be done to make the next event as successful as the last one. I have already spoken to the reps at Beef O'Bradys and they tell me that we are welcome to use the room again any time.

I am thinking that a good time to have it would be mid September, although if you would like to have another viewing sooner than that it would be welcomed.

Also, feel free to invite people to come to the forum and discuss plannig events in their local areas as well. After all, that is what a forum is for, to bring the fans together.

I'm definately up for another night. As for what to do... dunno. I'm obviously up for Torchwood episodes. But then again, with a huge screen and all-things-fried, I'd be pretty happy with most anything to watch.

Falling on the heels of our successful viewing of the 3 Part Doctor Who finale, the time has come for another Geeks Night Out.


This go around, we will be watching the Series One Finale of the Sarah Jane Adventures, The Lost Boy. With Series Two just around the corner, this will be a great way to get caught up on the events in the life of the Whoniverse's favorite jounalist.


Also being shown that night is the latest adventure for SG-1, Stargate: Continuum. Unlike it's predecessor The Ark of Truth, Continuum is a stand alone time travel adventure for SG-1 with many familiar faces from the franchise returning for a great tale.


All of this will be going on again at the Beef O'Brady's on Hwy 27 in Davenport, just off of I4 on Wednesday, August 20th.

I'm still going, but you need to mind when you time these. It's just a few days after the new Star Wars release, and some of us only have the budget for one or the other. I'd outright lose my Geek card if it wasn't for me seeing the Stargate movie instead. Just don't tell anyone that I'll have to wait a week for Star Wars.
