The Seventh Doctor is to get a new travelling companion? but it?s not someone he would want aboard the TARDIS! Big Finish has announced a new trilogy of Doctor Who adventures, running from January to March 2010, which sees the return of Nazi scientist Elizabeth Klein, who stole the TARDIS and changed the course of history in the popular story Colditz . ? Colditz was actually number 25 in our range of Doctor Who audio adventures,? says script editor John Ainsworth, ?and it?s been exciting to revisit the character over 100 CDs and (for us) eight years later. Work is continuing on Doctor Who: The Lost Stories , audio versions of scripts that were written for television during the 1980s but were never made. Colin Baker is reprising the role of the Sixth Doctor, while Nicola Bryant is back as his assistant Peri Brown. This month has seen the recording of Paradise 5 by renowned script writer PJ Hammond ( Sapphire and Steel , Torchwood ), which has been adapted for audio by Andy Lane. This has come about because of a combination of staff on holiday and the unexpected popularity of our Summer Sale. Eighth Doctor - Season Four Special Offer!  from Big Finish News RSS  (2009/7/6 8:13)

We?re pleased to announce a special offer subscription is now available for the upcoming fourth season of Eighth Doctor adventures. The season begins in December 2009 with the Christmas special Death in Blackpool (pictured left, with writer Alan Barnes and star Sheridan Smith behind the scenes). There will follow a few months? hiatus until it returns with a run of nine stories, which will also include a second Christmas Special! The offer, which is only valid until December 1 2009, is £70 for CDs or £65 for downloads, encompassing all 10 stories.
